Instructions to make Chicken veg manchow soup:
- For noodles: Boil noodles according to packet instructions. Add 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil to the water. Once boiled drain it and set aside.
1. In a bowl add boiled noodles and cornflour. Mix till the noodles are well coated with flour, as shown in a picture. - Heat up the oil in a pan/ wok, fry noodles for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame until they get light golden brown color and become crispy. Don’t over cook. Noodles will darken once they cool down.


1. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pot, add chopped ginger and garlic. Sauté for a minute or two.
1. Add onion sauté for 2 minutes, then add thinly sliced chicken and sauté for 4-5 minutes. - Now add cabbage, capsicum, red and orange bell peppers. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add hot water and mix.
- Add 1 finely chopped green chili, 2 tbsp vinegar, 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
- Add salt, black pepper and sugar.
- Add green chili sauce and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
- Now add slurry (2 tbsp corn flour mixed in 4 tbsp water) and keep mixing so it doesn’t firm lumps. Cook for another 2 minutes. Finely add fresh chopped coriander and chopped spring onion.
1. Serve in a bowl and top it with fried noodles and spring onions.
